What does "TrueBellezas" mean?

Our company name, True Bellezas, is a combination of the English word "True", which means real and authentic, and the Spanish word "Bellezas", which means beauties. The name was chosen to describe the inner and outer beauty of women in America, particularly U.S. Latina/Hispanic women, who strive to succeed within the American culture while keeping their culture of origin alive.

TrueBellezas.com members are diverse, modern, and ambitious women over 18 years of age. All women are welcome to join. The typical member is of Latin or Hispanic descent, or married to a Latino or Hispanic, or Latino or Hispanic by association. However, we encourage all women to become True Bellezas and experience this exciting, supportive and inspirational community.

Not only are we the first and only social network dedicated to U.S. Latina & Hispanic women, but we feel a responsibility to the community at large to support and promote media, products, and services that realistically and positively represent and serve women, especially Latina & Hispanic women.

True Bellezas Company Story

TrueBellezas.com was founded in 2007 by two U.S. Latina sisters who saw first hand the challenges of Latina & Hispanic women living in a bi-cultural environment.  They decided the best way to help people with similar challenges was to get Latinas talking to each other about their experiences.  By using the Internet, they established a social network that offers support, advice and information in a convenient and encouraging way.  They want Latinas talking to other Latinas about real everyday topics such as finding quality beauty products for women of Latin descent, or techniques for teaching their children Spanish, and other culturally relevant conversations about family, beauty, education, career, marriage and many other subjects.   Hence, True Bellezas was born! The company name, True Bellezas, was specifically chosen to represent the beauty and spirit of women living in today's modern America.
